The first badge dates back to 1922 and was used until 1955

The first badge dates back to 1922 and was used until 1955. It had a white background with a yellow horizontal band and the initials CABJ in yellow and blue.

The seven amateur titles:

1955

With laurel leaves

Fifty years after the club was founded the club’s badge was remodelled and the colours were changed to make a closer match to the team’s shirt. The acronym was now black on a yellow band and two laurel leaves were added to celebrate the club’s 50th anniversary.

1960

Name in full

In the Sixties the laurels marking the 50th anniversary were removed, the full name was written on the yellow band and a black border was added to make the badge stand out.

1970

One title, one star

In the Seventies, on the initiative of President Alberto J. Armando, one star was added to the badge for each title won, and was greatly received. The initials returned on the badge and the outline was yellow.

1996

More stars

To make room for the stars for the previous 10 years of titles, the yellow band was removed and the initials were written in yellow to give the badge a greater visual impact.

2012

The last touch

The only change that was made to the badge in October 2012 was the addition of the 52nd star, as approved by the Board in accordance with legal requirements.
